I am against whaling, as it is cruel and inhumane. Why does China need 3,000 whales a year for research? If there were no loopholes in whaling, these poor animals would NOT be endangered. There should be a set amount, and that's it, no way around it. Also, the way of killing the animals is disgusting, the fact they attach a timed grenade onto the spear so it explodes the whale's brain! China is disgusting and they should be ashamed of themselves. Whales have feelings too, and it has been known that they mourn for the dead. Whales should be left in the wild where they are happy, and people can enjoy whale spotting.
