Endangered Dolphins

Are there any endangered  dolphins?

Yes. Some of them are called "whales", but they belong to
the toothed whales group - (as opposed to baleen whales).

With all the concern about large baleen whales, it's almost easy to forget the toothed whales that mostly escaped whaling.
But some, particularly those that live in freshwater rivers, are on decline. In fact, there are some on the brink of extinction such as the Vaquita Dolphin. The main threats they face are pollution of the waters, habitat destruction (rainforest deforestation), and hunting.
