All the tours leave from different coastal towns of Massachusetts as the whales' summer feeding grounds are off that coast in Stellwagen Bank and Jeffrey's Ledge.
During the summer months, finback, humpback and minke whales are seen on tours as they feed in these cool northern waters before starting the long migration trip back down to the Caribbean where they breed during the winter months.
If you are lucky you may also see the rare right whale, but head to Massachusetts!
