Whaling

Excellent arguments against whaling.
Some people just don't seem to have the ability to understand that whaling just isn't the way to save our fish population.
Whales don't single out fish.
They open their mouths and whatever is in their path gets sucked in.
They are indiscriminate with their eating.
The main prey of the whale is plankton.
Unless it's a killer whale.
Then it's main prey are seals and penguins.
To answer the question, no, I do not think it's okay for people to kill and eat whales, especially since their population numbers are dwindling.
And I think it is more important to focus on the money that whale watching can bring to a community like that of in Japan, Norway and Iceland.
